Best opening against D4

I don't like first D4... can someone give me the best opening for this?

tx
Nimzo-Indian Defence.

It's very flexible and that means that no matter what you choose it's probably a line.

Of course that works if they play 3. Nc3. If they play 3. Nf3, you can try QGD: Ragozin, which is a mix between NID and QGD or try Bogo-Indian or QID
there is no absolute answer for that, it depends on your favourite I my self played slav and semi slav almost exclusively because I feel comfortable with it , thought it might be wrong decision, you have to play all kind of opening somhow to have a good grip in the understanding of chess opening, and most importantly , you have to check after every game (regardless wether it's blitz or standard) the opnening using an opening book
Nimzo Indian is good, but it is not one opening, it is 10 different opening systems which happen to start with the same moves. Pick one or two of them to play.
Sometimes it is easier to understand what not to do:
1. Don't leave your pieces sleeping on the bench. Wake them up and make them work as a team.
2. Don't place your pieces away from the action. Your pieces should not be afraid to wrestle.
3. Don't waste your time picking a spot that goes nowhere.

The engines show seven good responses to d4 pick one and enjoy the common variants that people play the most.
Part of the strategy behind d4 is to attack e5. White does not want you to open up the game first.
Black can do the same and play d5 to attack e4. The move blocks the d4, by occupying d5. We need to control two central squares to say the center is under temporary control.
Then we can wait and see what white plays. Over a few moves, you will know if they want to close the game or open it up.
I like Nf6; it attacks e4 and controls e5. If my army is out before the opponent, my team has a better chance of gaining the initiative. Castle the king so your pieces are not sacrificed for king safety.
