A curious case of cheater

I had reported him also. His account now says banned.... "Player artificially increases/decreases their rating"
Well, that is a problem mainly with classical time control.
As far as I see rating should be managed as the game starts (one move each) or tourney is joined (matching system is entered).
Actual system is fair, maybe some alert for moderators against extremely low average number of moves per game combined with 2' delays or more before resignation/game being left can find such abuses quickly.
Main suggestion for players may be going for 2' + 1'/move that would discourage that waste of time, also providing a similar average time around 33th move. Anyway that partial solution does not remove eventual 10' + 8"/move challange baits that allow such abuse by poor spirit players.
Usually I create another game while waiting for the opponent's turn for long time.
I guess he waits for the maximum time before making each move

You can take 2-3 minutes something like that.

So no wonder people leave the game if it takes 6 minutes for the other guy to make the 2 first moves.

I guess you could solve it in many different ways

Have the computer scan for people winning a strange number of games of time, like the 0,1% of players that have must time wins and then look at them manually

Decrease the time you can spend on the first 2-3 moves without loosing the game (these 2-3 anybody should be able to make without thinking a ton lol)
What he did is SO pointless though :)

Strange people will spend so much effort to get a meaningsless rating on a meaningless account on a webpage
