Moving off planet

I do follow the exploration of space though. I find it interesting. But the question was about moving to Mars, not just exploring it. It seemed to correlated with leaving earth, for some reason in my mind.

The point of the post about greenland, was about how it might not be very hospitable physically. That in spite of the earth population growth we don't see much "colonisation" of it by human groups? I think maybe the poles would have been clearer about that aspect.

So what would be the point of going to mars, an even more difficult place if we had to move to. I don't think this was about going to Greenland. There is a difference between exploring and moving to. I think .

However i may have missed the societal internal question of workers relations to the one proposing such a committed group effort.
It is madness trying to leave earth. No survivals after first accident in mars. So many things that might go wrong .. I'll keep my feet on earth as long as I live.
Imagine on reaching Mars we will be received by Alien troops and they take us as hostages to use in their Medical Research centers and in the worst case if they don't have anesthetic drugs we will be in hell lot of pain and then we slowly turn into half human half devil kinda things and after use, we will be dumped in a crater from where we could see our Earth and remember the meaningful "Human" life we had on it and slowly die crying for help.
How about we first worry about stopping climate change, then we colonize other planets?
Moving to Mars is a calling for a very small group. Why? Because its there. You either understand it or you don't. If some of my circumstances were different I would throw in my lot with Musk's settlement endeavor.

exploring is fine, but i fear the investors might be wanting to propagate some exploitation culture to other planets.

scientific curiosity how could I be against. But blinded sight or escapism in light of current planetary problems on this closer planet, is kind of making settlement notions actually closer to colonization habits than exploration.

I bet there would be territorial claims.... and etc..... I might be wrong i am just saying it smells possible... and what i hear of investors blindness in general does not give me much hope about being wrong.
The martians have been trying to defeat the ultimate dark demon of the underworld for thousands of years, but two years ago king Alfen of the kingdom of Epsilon went with the Sword of Dora to defeat him. His army was defeated by the dark demon, but finally he was killled by king Alfen.
