Winchester Kentucky Community Chess

In-person chess on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 6:00 pm at the Winchester/Clark Co. Parks & Recreation. (Come and go as you please).
Our sessions include friendly chess matches, instruction, discussions, and socializing. This group is for the young and old / new player and experienced. We are a good, friendly group. Also, if you don't know how to play chess and would like to learn... come on out and we will teach you! Chess is easy to learn, but hard to master.
If you're interested in online games with us, join our lichess Winchester Kentucky Community Chess team at https://lichess.org/team/winchester-kentucky-community-chess. You can join us to play correspondence or live chess any time on lichess. On our teams page, scroll down and see member names on the left-hand side of the screen, then challenge someone to a game by hovering over their name with cursor, then click on the crossed swords icon. For a live game, the opponent must at least be online also. You can also follow and become friends by hovering and click on the thumbs-up/follow icon.
We have recently been having some unrated tournaments as announced (in-person).
