Borislav Ivkov (1933-2022)

In the British Chess Magazine - March 2022, Milan Dinic wrote a nice semblance on Borislav Ivkov. Has this great chess player influenced you? How?

The only game included in Karpov's collected games (chosen by Karpov himself) in which he lost. The lesson Karpov learned? Take a draw if the position is a draw. Don't force it.
Unfortunately, the main thing I remember about Boris is that tournament where he choked it all away toward the end. And also that (despite his name) he wasn't Russian.
Oh, I didn't know that he's no more. I provide my condolences though.
About the question, I wasn't much fond of his games instead I liked others like Tal, Alekhine, Petrosian, etc. so I am not influenced by his games.
I receive the BCM and have read Dinic's article. Here is one of my favorite favorite games played by the great Ivkov. Ruy Lopez, closed defense. A beautiful positional game.
