Cheating Against Cheaters.

I am fully convinced that I can potentially start cheating here in a way that lichess is never going to track down.

It is not about being on the right track, it is about the issue that lots of cheaters can actually hardly been screened officially.

I was not talking about whether you can or can't cheat without being caught, the question itself was, whether cheating against cheaters is cheating itself. The later doesn't depend at all on your success in cheating.
And if you meant that lichess is not well organized to cope with it, then it's up to you to cheat against cheaters, if you feel happy with that (assuming you can clearly differentiate between them).

I was rather pointing out that the problem of cheating becomes more and more annoying.

The guy used the word cheating 3 times in the same sentence and he's still not convinced... Come on, dude, let me spell it out for you: "YES, YOU ARE CHEATING"

If your account gets marked it will very unlikely be unmarked using this as an argument. Also note that using an engine to try proving that someone is cheating is still against the ToS and will probably get your account marked, if winning then it will also boost your rating.

The 'mark' on the accounts is not an philosophical evaluation whether it was "cheating". It denotes that an engine has been used in some capacity. This is useful for further cheat detection analysis and we have an interest to keep correct account marks.

Do not cheat under any circumstances. Next question please.
