You have to go to analyse settings and then klick on "best move arrows" to turn it off

You have to turn "best move arrows " off
@SchachJohnny

yeah, but if you do it, you dont see any arrows at all in analysis mode.
and i guess a lot of players liked to see the old arrows (you could choose between 1-5).

You know what i mean?

Maybe there is the possibility but I am not sure.
Thnk you for the help. I had to load a different gamr, remove the best arrows, then reload the one where they were appearing.
It seems to have worked.
Still puzzled as to why they appeared.

There is a copy of the popup in this pull request:

github.com/lichess-org/lila/pull/13394

It says:

- Purple is the mainline move
- Pink arrows are variations
- Blue arrow is best eval move

shift: Cycle selected move arrow
arrow-right: Play selected move
shift-arrow-left: Return to previous mainline move

Thank you for this fyodor0

I think there are probably some use-cases for this feature - in opening preparation studies, maybe? (to compare what happened in a game to the possible variations, idk) But I agree with what a lot of people have been saying here, it would definitely be nice to have an option to turn it off
Pink and Purple Arrows in Studies!

Is there a way to run off the purple and pink arrows that show up in an interactive study? Its making it too easy for my students to complete an interactive study because the arrows are drawing the best move on the screen.

Many thanks for the help!
